The Joy of God in the Hearts of a Haitian Home

Witnessing at a church plant in the community of Kilometer 1, we walked up to a house that had three doors, and outside was standing three Haitian families who lived in one house together.

When I walked up to the family I asked if I could take a picture of their children and I noticed that the three year old boy had been crying. My heart was sad and I wanted to bring him joy and make him smile.

Someone from our group gave him a little stuffed animal and I started to play with him.

We shared the gospel with the family and they asked us to pray for them. Right when we finished praying, the boy was smiling. Then he started playing with his toy just the same way I was.

Not only did this little boy smile, but the whole family was filled with joy of God.
